Vitamin C, its one of those things that we all know we should get plenty of. The first thing it makes me think of is oranges but there are plenty of fruit that contains way more vitamin C than oranges, at the top of that list is guava. Enough about eating it, what about putting it on your skin?
Vitamin C serum help to increase collagen production, reduce the appearance of dark spots, enhance skins repair process, brighten skin and reduce fine lines.
As far as skincare goes, vitamin C is one of the most researched ingredients and the general consensus is that it is a top pick to help look after your skin. But like most things not all vitamin C serums are created equal. Because vitamin C is unstable its beneficial properties can easily be destroyed by light, heat and air, this also means it has a shorter shelf life.
I have been testing out OZ Naturals 20% Vitamin C Serum. I love the ritual of cleaning my face each evening and I love serums. This one sinks into my skin so quickly leaving no residue at all. I’m not seeing any amazing results like so many other have claimed, I guess I’m just not impressed that easily. But I have noticed my skin has been feeling a little smoother and a couple of the marks from old breakout have faded so there is still hope for this serum to show me its magic.
I’m going to continue to use the serum until the last drop because it feels lovely to apply and I’m hoping to see more results soon.
