Snow Day

December 15, 2015

snow day outfit : hiking boots, oxblood jeans and green quilted vest

Let it Snow!

So excited that there is finally snow on the mountains, it makes it feel like Christmas is just around the corner (even though I grew up with hot summer Christmas’) and also excited for lots of layers and snow day outfits.

Simon and I headed across to the north shore and then took a scenic drive up Cypress Mountain, I’m still not tired of stopping at the lookout with such a great view of Vancouver, photos just don’t do it justice.

Next stop was snow! No snowboarding this time, and no snow shoes, just a little (slippery) walk up the hill, I was just sad I didn’t have a toboggan to slide back down it.
One of these days I want to go snow shoeing… at least then I could take a camera, unlike going snowboarding and maybe have hot chocolate too. OK now thats exactly what I want to do!

The snow is just on the mountains surrounding Vancouver, sadly no actual snowfall in the city.

Christmas now needs o be moved into Jaunary so we have higher chances of white a christmas ;)
