Finally the sun is staying up longer, and we find ourselves dreaming of barbecued food and plenty of beer. Since we don’t actually have a barbecue we headed to the International Summer Night Market in Richmond to satisfy our foodie cravings.
I love the vibe of markets. All the smells wafting through the air, people happily chatting and eating, everyone just seems to be having a good time. And we had a good time too, circling the food section like kids in a candy store trying to decide what we wanted to try next.
First up was popcorn chicken with spices, next was the nights award winner: grilled squid, my gosh, I could have that every night, it was delicious.Custard fish for dessert, thats a waffle fish, just in case you cringed as your read that. And of course I had to have a bubble tea, for which I chose lavender flavour.
