Over the last few weeks I have been watching the snow accumulate on the mountains around Vancouver, and all I want to do is be able to touch it. While most are wishing for a tropical holiday right now I am the crazy one counting down the days until the snow is falling outside my window.
One day I will have to live somewhere that gets real amounts of snow, but for now I’m pretty content with the light snowfall that does happen occasionally around here. Its certainly more than the very rare freak snowfall that we would get back in Canberra, Australia (yes it does snow in Australia, for all you non aussies!).
Well we finally gave in and drove towards the snow, which in this case meant we ended up on Mount Seymour. Pretty Isn’t it? We took a walk along the Goldie Lake trail, or at least thats where we thought we were walking! but I have a feeling we were kind of lost.

Have I mentioned how practical my wardrobe staples have been this season?! It sure is a change for me. The two staples I have fallen in love with are these jeans and this vest (p.s banana republic has 34% off today), but you can probably tell since you have already seen me wear them here, here and here. And the newest addition to my wardrobe is this wonderful cozy jacket… mmm the cozyness of fur, faux fur of course.
I won’t lie, I was more than a little tired by the end of this walk… and they said it was easy! Oh gosh I had better be off to the gym then. Does anyone have a favourite type of workout that I should try?
