This is the second year in a row we have gone apple picking at Willow View Farms, I think that makes it a tradition now, right?
The place is just so cute which makes the 40 min drive so worth it, actually we drive further than that on a day off just for the sake of it. So driving time isn’t exactly something that bothers me plus in winter the heated seats in the car are my favourite thing ever. Seriously if you don’t have heated seats and you live somewhere it gets cold they should be on the top of your must have features list for the next car. Do you know what seat they heat in Japan… the toilet seat… its genius! Especially when you are freezing from stacking lots snowboarding, it makes peeling off all those layers just that little bit more bearable, but thats some serious side tracking from apple picking now.
Thrifted Scarf (similar one from Topshop) | Armani feather blouse (here is a really cute patterned blouse) | Belt from Gap (similar)
Red waxed jeans from Banana Republic | Riding boots from Aldo (similar)
I have never really been a pants girl, more or the skirt and dress type but I have practically lived in these babies all Autumn, and to think I almost didn’t buy them (something about being on a budget). Oh and because I am a wimp when it comes to the cold I am hiding an icebreaker merino wool base layer under that delicate blouse (like this one) and merino leggings under those jeans like these ones here. Just a little bit of practical thrown in, but truthfully its just so that I don’t have to put a big jacket over my much loved feather blouse.
